Truma combi 4e

Hi looking for some help for my brother  who is away in his new  to him second  hand motorhome.  He has a truma combi 4e. But need help has a flashing orange light .anyone know what this means please?

You need to know the number of flashes and if short or long flashes then Google Truma Combi 4e flash codes , then check 'images' and you'll see pages of codes. They show as ssss slsl  etc the s meaning short , l meaning long and gap means pause.

if your brother is looking at the PCB on the side of the actual boiler unit (and the many error codes it can supply) then Paul is correct...an interpretation is needed.

however, im guessing he's looking at the user control knobs...
if the 'orange' error light is on the twin knob controls then its likely this is the 'yellow' light referred to in these notes.

from memory of thr older system, the lights are red (fault), green (normal) and yellow (error).

The two flashes can occur under a number of different circumstances. 

as below, this could be the lack of EHU power when selecting electricity as the source, OR a low leisure battery voltage when running on gas without a mains hookup.

However it can also denote the thermal cut-out has been tripped, sometimes caused if running the boiler dry, see reset below.
