broadway endbathroom Empty Broadway EB

Post by pjonesf1 Thu Jul 18, 2019 6:41 pm

Hi Mallings,

We have a Broadway EB 66 plate which we have owned since Jan 18. I think the Euro 6 engine is very good in 160bhp format although I haven't driven a 130bhp version to compare. Reading this forum there are niggles with many models but overall we are pleased with our purchase. Are you buying new or used?
The worst problem we had was a 230v cable became detached from the crimp which I wasn't happy about. The rest has mainly been bits of trim detaching itself from various walls. The bathrooms great and I understand the kitchen works well but that isn't somewhere I frequent too often.
I'm not sure if your title refers to your name or where you live but I see Paul mentions Maidstone and we live in West Malling so we won't be far away once we come back in October

Hi there, I too have a 2017 Broadway end bathroom. I am relatively new to motorhoming but have been hugely impressed with ours. The engine is powerful and the high seating position is superb when driving. Coming from a fixed bed caravan I was a bit unsure of making the bed up  each night and potential comfort levels but I needn’t have worried. The end bathroom is highly regarded by my better half... space for a ladies morning and evening rituals! Blue lights in the mirror is odd though. I like the compactness and the ability to pull up in lay-bys and car parks without worrying about the size of it. We have had just one tiny problem... led light in the lounge area has failed. The interior and exterior are like new but in fairness It’s fastidiously cleaned after every trip.  We took a long time to decide but thankfully got it right with our Broadway EB.. proving worthy of the (not inconsiderable) investment!

we bought our first ever Motorhome last July, after months of looking around we decided on the 2018 Broadway EB .......   my better half loves the bathroom and rarely uses on site washrooms etc  its perfect for us,  love it !!. Had a couple of  minor niggles(front remis blind kept opening and a broken door catch) which were sorted on the first habitation check.
we have 19" Avtex TV which fits well in the cupboard  HTH

Phil j ... completely agree...my 67 plate broadway has really decent sized shower and the cupboard space is very generous which extends to a good sized double door cupboard under the sink and the 3 big drawers and decent sized wardrobe. My wife doesn’t really know how to travel light so hanger space is v useful. The 2nd and third drawer weren’t running quite as smooth as I wanted and a shaving of paint was coming off the metal runners on the left hand side. This afternoon I’ve taken the drawers out , used a silicon lube and repositioned the runners and all in now good.
TV.. I’ve improvised with a portable backlit led tv and diagonally it measures 54cms. It’s sits on a stand above the big table cabinet and seems to work fine.
