Rattles in Nuevo Empty Rattles in Nuevo

Post by skyrakes Sat Oct 13, 2012 9:40 pm

Just received our new van and found a few rattles. The oven rattles was solved by cutting a couple of lengths of copper pipe insulation and sliding over the shelf racks. Also slid some over the edge of the baking trays, problem solved.
Plate rack has been removed and the plates and bowls stacked on top of each other. I then secured 2 x lengths of velcro to the bottom of the shelf. These were then pulled tight over the plates etc. Rattle solved.

Rattles in draws was solved by cutting 2 lengths of copper pipe insulation just a smidging wider than the draws and pushed them down. Problem solved.

One niggly thing I have found is the waste water tank indicator. I had a fresh water tank 75% full which became very nearly empty with general use. The waste water tank showed 0% full. Any thoughts why.

Everything else seems OK

Pipe insulation sounds a good idea for the shelf ends in the oven....

I presume your waste tape wasn't left open and the reason for the 0% reading? If not then I'd get it looked at under warranty

A 75% full water tank usually lasts us 3 or 4 days

Dont forget to take them out when you use the oven.

No the tap was closed. I will check again over the next 2 days. If not back to the dealer.

No worries with the oven we never use it, just the hob up!

Would be interested in a photo of the cutlery draw as I'm trying to picture the foam in my mind, we use grip mat in the recesses in ours but still get the occasional rattle.
