TV advice

Hoping to buy a TV system so we can watch Olympics while we are away at our 1 event and the campervan doesn't have a fitted arial. We travel on Friday so no time to get roof arial installed. . Advice please on whether we should go for digital clip on ariel (used by wagon drivers) or buy a satellite system. Could anybody give feedback on portable freesat systems please?

Bit more info may be of help. are you staying in the UK or going abroad, how much do you want to spend, what model of van is it ?

We have sucessfully used our laptop with a freeview adaptor and an indoor aerial. The picture was good quality when we wede in Perthshire. I will look tomorrow to see the makes of the adaptor and aerial. The aerial was a best buy in Which and does not need to be plugged in to the mains electricity.

Thanks for advcic everybody. I am now sorted and gone for a portable satellite system with receiver for freesat.

Would be interested to know how you get onand if you dont mind how much did it cost?
