Northern Motorhome Show

A week to go and it has hardly stopped raining here today (cant think of day it hasnt rained for weeks even)

Wondering the chances of the show for next weekend. Only 20 minutes away so the weather can't be a lot different.

Fed up with rain.

Could we try mass positive thinking (like The Sun with various hands on for Various footballers) so we can have a ice show

Well, all the rally gear is packed, brewing machine etc.

The problem at Tabley is not so much the wet ground its the roadways that have been the problem the last 2 years.

Like you I am 15mins away but until we are told otherwise we will be there marking out Wednesday pm. For day visitors I will post on here what the conditions are like.

If anybody is going look us up. Our Windsor will be at the entrance to the ASOC rally area and weather permitting Liz's smiley flag at the top of the pole. There are three ASOF stickers on it but with the screen cover up, the gazebo on the side only the one on the bike rack would be visible. Brian-Bulldog01 should be parked next door in their Nuevo Classic

At the worst we can go as day visitors. Nice light weight Panda as back up.

Warners posted on their Facebook site yesterday all is well and the show will go ahead.

I will post tomorrow after we have pegged out on the state of the ground.

Maurice from the MCC is already there setting the stand and rally area up and he says its ok on the MCC forum

Will keep an eye out both here and on Warners. Really want to go but do not want to have to be towed. Warners however will not want to cancel as they will have to give refunds.
I feel for the stall holders and the Real ale bar etc who will have placed orders by now and if the numbers are down they may not rebook next year.

It is throwing it down here and the forecast for Knutsford (on BBC) doesn't look good for the weekend.

Whereas the Met Office has Light Showers for all 3 days. Can we have the Met Office version please :)
