Corrosion in rear light connectors
For reasons of curiosity I removed my number plate lights and look what I found!

I bought my 2015 Nuevo with 1800 miles on the clock and it was like brand new underneath. I went across France to the west coast of Spain, and from the midlands down to Devon and now it has done 8300 miles. It collected some road dirt and you may not realise it but this sprays up inside the rear fibreglass panel over all the light connections. The side, indicator, reversing lights are waterproofed but not the number plate lights. So you may like to remove them, clean the bulbs and waxoyl the connectors. Alternatively you can ignore them, fail the MOT and then replace them with sealed LED units as they should have been in the first place. Something like this:

though you might have to re-do the electrical connectors. I wouldn't bother replacing the torpedo filament bulbs.
