Have you tried Just Kampers, they only do VW Motor homes / Campers, so know them inside out, yours is a VW , mine was £177 cheaper . than any other quotes.
I was very impressed when I phoned them. I did it all over the phone.
Good luck,
M

Hi,
Thats the problem, I cannot use the phone, so I have to do everything online, or try and get someone to do it for me.
Very frustrating, when they dont give you an option. Everyone says that to me, give me a ring.
Regards
Pat

Good luck,
Margaret

You may be correct, my quote was very high, so may be they tried to put me off with the Peugeot, which they did.

I got a Quick quote for my Sprinter. Premium high for limited cover with £850 excess. They may not really want the business.

If you wanted to PM me your details I'd be happy to look into the details to see if I can shed some light on why we were so expensive.

Dan.

Re: Adrian Flux Insurance For Motorhomes
I renewed my insurance in December with Adrian Flux and got a better deal than with my previous insurer.
It's obviously depends on all sorts of factors, but I would not hesitate in recommending.
......and the ASOF discount!

Green Card.
Hi Dan. We leave for Europe two weeks after Brexit kicks in. If I should need a Green Card, how long would it take to get one?
I don't wish to get caught out, hence the question.

Thanks Ploughlin, I guess I will have to get my timings right. My insurance is due the day before we leave. I can renew well in advance and maybe ask for a green card anyway, as a precaution. If that option is possible.

Re: Adrian Flux Insurance For Motorhomes
Adrian Flux as brokers use Markerstudy as their preferred insurer company to produce very competitive quotes. It is worth noting that reviews on Markerstudy (Trustpilot website) are extremely unfavourable and worth a read.( I am not suggesting that the brokerage services of AF are problematic)

Re: Adrian Flux Insurance For Motorhomes
While on the subject of Motorhome Insurance, has any one met this one, which I read about in newspaper.
If you do very little mileage per year, some insurers can charge you a higher premium over drivers who do high mileage. It was indicating that low annual mileage users are helping to keep the costs down for high users.
Strange but that is what I have read recently.

Re: Adrian Flux Insurance For Motorhomes
My insurance last year through Adrian Flux was with Allianz who have now been taken over by LV. This year they've put it with Highway which is a subsidiary of LV. Never heard of Markerstudy.jetty wrote:Adrian Flux as brokers often use Markerstudy as their preferred insurer company, producing very competitive quotes. Leighton.
I believe we are issuing green cards in our office to save on administration / time for the insurers.
Probably still best to give us a few days notice though so we can get it out in time etc.

Dan.

Re: Adrian Flux Insurance For Motorhomes
Competitive quote from Adrian Flux this morning, decided to stick with my original insurer though as they were so good in their service a couple of years ago and offered marginally better terms. Around £180 fully comp for a £48000 van can't be bad for a 70 year old!
Must be worth giving them a try and good to see Dan on the forum.

That's good Groundhog. I paid £280 last year for a £30000 van and a 76 year old! It must be an age thing!groundhog wrote:Competitive quote from Adrian Flux this morning, decided to stick with my original insurer though as they were so good in their service a couple of years ago and offered marginally better terms. Also I had restricted mileage of 6000, I think.
Needs a rethink this year......
