What is your MAM Maximum Authorised Mass. If it is 3500kg you are overloaded.

There should be a weight plate on the van somewhere, under the bonnet or inside driver's door jamb?

It should show 4 weights, MAM, Max train weight ie towing, max front axle weight and max rear axle weight. You are not allowed to exceed any of the values.

Looking at a Nuevo  AS handbook, it shows MAM 3500 kg, MTW 5300 kg, Max front  1750 kg, Max rear 2000kg.

From your figures the front is well in even low, but the rear at 2320 kg is well overloaded. Have you got something heavy hanging on the rear?

What does the Technical Specification (typically Section 8) of your Owner's Manual say?

It ~probably~ says that you maximum mass is 3500kg, your max front axle load is 1750kg and your max rear axle load is 2000kg.

If the example given above (taken from an actual 2009 Nuevo Owners Manual) is correct, your rear axle is overloaded by 320kg, and you also exceed the overall vehicle limit by 100kg.

unless you're on the 'heavy' chassis (prob not an option on Nuevo) you are severely overloaded, as above...

you say, what can I carry?....is the van empty apart from the water, gas. and yourself? if so, something is not right or you have a motor scooter on a rear mounted rack....
this van is so rear biased, it must be a pig to dive....illegally...
more info please, a tiddly van like this shouldn't weigh anything like the above numbers...

Is the waste tank empty?

Based on what you say was in/on the van when weighed, the total weight you gave in the first post can't be correct. I suggest you have it reweighed, assuming you haven't mistyped the figures.

Agreed, I had our 7m Rapido weighed the other day.

With two up (140kg), 1/4 tank of fuel (20kg), awning, snipe satellite, TV, solar panel, and a few odds 'n' ends like crockery and saucepans (20kg-ish), it was bang on 3200kg.

MTPLM 3500.
UW supposed to be max 3050.

I would think it has to be an error when writing down the second weight - 2600 kg seems possible with no payload on board.

2600kg seems too low, MIRO is about 2900kg. 3000kg more likely.

Hi .My last van weighed   1400 and 2060  =3460 just in.
Your figures     are          1280 and 2320  =  3600  100 over at 3500.
No room for wife   Get rid of some back end weight.

When you say "available load 2220kg" are you thinking you can load up to 5300 kg, because you can't, 3500 kg is your limit ie 420 kg left to put on.

5300 kg is the max train weight ie 3500 kg fully loaded van including trailer nose weight plus maximum 1800 kg trailer weight.

Or are you just messing with us?

My Broadway with driver plus passenger, 20 litre (10kg) gas, 100 litre water, 25 litre waste, full diesel tank, and fully packed ready to go weighs 3440kg (front axle 1500kg). We weigh 70kg and 60kg.
