12 volt power

Thanks for the help on my last post.....Made up my mind I'm getting 2 lithium batteries with charger.I know its expensive but campsites charge for dogs hookup anything and off site early morning.My last pitch in Spain 2 weeks 245 per week nice but I'm thinking of touring 3 months.A bit of wild camping as a lot of people do.I met so many people just book oct till march i thought touring is for me.So hand on hart i like to be independent when campsites are full and may not where i am.......

In our Inca, we have a measly 75ah battery with a 100w solar panel.

No TV, but do like to keep our phones and a laptop charged, all our lighting has been changed to LED.

We can last almost indefinitely without hook up, just need to find waste dumps as and when.

  If you are saying charger then you will need EHU or a generator.I would look at increasing your solar output to the max you can fit on the roof and taking a small Honda type generator than two large batteries It is surprising in sunny weather how long you can go

Similar to me, I have one 85ah battery and a 100w solar panel, and can last indefinitely without EHU, even in overcast conditions. We were only on hook up for 4 out of 30 days on our last European trip.

Yes, I agree with Les and Al.
I don't always succeed, but I try not to spend money solving problems I don't have. I wonder if you are tempted to do that?? 

If it's practically possible I would suggest waiting until you run out of juice before spending a lot of money providing more, that you may never need.

Worth remembering of course that if you run out of hab juice, you can always start the engine to put some back, (there's no way I'm going to use the highly emotive word 'charge' here).
