vehicle/cab battery flat.

Advice required please. my 2011 nuevo/lancashire is on mains hook up whilst on my driveway, went out toady to start it up and it's flat, (on charge at moment). The van has a sergent 328 fitted. I assumed that while I was on hook up the cab battery was being charged, is that not the case or should I connect my trickle charger, thanks for any help, cheers roger

I don't know which other thread you mean but yes - by default, the mains charger in the Sargent EC328 is set up to charge the leisure battery - though by default the solar (if you have it) power should be shared between the two batteries.

I find that on my Celex (non-A/S) the vehicle battery discharges much quicker than the leisure battery, so when I put mine on hookup I always manually switch it so that it is charging the vehicle battery.

Power can  be diverted from the leisure  battery to engine  battery  via the 328 control unit .
