Not sure where to post this as I cannot see a ‘Domestic Issues’ area… we are trying to work out how to detach the bin on the habitation door on a 2019 Nuevo EK - or how to put in a bin liner without it falling down into the bin. How do you use yours?!

Thanks Paul. Exactly what we were looking for; did try using the search function but couldn’t find it 🙂

Hi, I did a similar thing with a bungee and it did hold a liner in place very well but because the lip of the bin is smaller than the body and quite sharp it’s difficult to remove a full bin liner without tearing it. I eventually gave in and swapped the bin for a different one.

Ah, interesting. So what did you replace it with?

I replaced my bin with a Brabantia one - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Has the advantage that you can use the liners which, albeit more expensive than a plastic bag - fit the bin perfectly. Also bigger than the original so less frequent emptying.

Only disadvantage is that you can occasionally catch the bin when entering the vehicle and knock it off. Cured this with the 'bungy' cord trick. Also put magnets on the lid so it will stay open if I want it to.
