It didn’t seem very warm whilst I was at our daughters finishing her fence for her. As the evening moves on it’s seems to be getting quite chilly. I will need a jacket for our evening mutttly walk.walkies

Forecast for the whole week in the east is GREY.

My only hope is it proves to be as inaccurate as such "long range" forecasts usually are. up!

Gardener has reported that, although it's been mostly grey, it's been pretty mild and quite pleasant. I've been confined to barracks so it could be snowing for all I know  snigger Just wondering what impact the current weather across the pond will have on ours over the weeks ahead

Saw some of those "attack gulls" in Witby on morning telly Boaby. Some of the locals were very forgiving but I wouldn't be. Yes I know they are protected but funnily enough, so am I  hugegrins

Still grey and breezy, brief opening in the clouds revealing blue sky, our local gulls have been really aggressive this year, must be something in the fish suppers.  shrugg .
One of the gulls put a hole in my golf brolly ( I don't play golf.  up!  )  a few weeks ago.
Have a nice day.hope you get better soon Tony.

12C and dull here this morning, been out cutting grass and had to wear a jumper. First glimpse of blue sky just appeared before I came in for a coffee.

Heading down towards Scarborough area at end of next week for a few days, sounds like I might need to pack a tin hat to protect me from the gulls

Hard or bump hat required BB, mind the coastal towns are very busy, mind yer simmit too.  hugegrins  It's chilly at night with the sea Har, currently 14 outside.
We should have been up in Old Hartley, unfortunately an old back problem with the wife has knocked our trip north to A & B for this year.
Have a safe journey up!

Sorry to hear you wife is not so good and your trip north is off. I hope she picks up soon and you both get back out on the road.

We were due to get away on Wednesday( to a great place apparently for testing your eyesight  biggrin ) but that's been cancelled. Thankfully it was a CAMC site so no financial hit. We have a few more bookings in the balance and as they are commercials It'll be total loss of site fees  shrugg

I managed to trim the front hedge today and it felt quite chilly in the breeze. I think the wind is off the North Sea.
Son and I are off to Newark Air Museum on Wednesday. I hope it’s a bit more sheltered in land so we can eat our butties outside.

Dull start but the sun is out now and lots of blue sky peeking through. Not much of a breeze blowing either. Looks like there is some nasty stuff hitting us at the weekend  shrugg

After a chilly grey day in Newark yesterday it’s brighter and slightly warmer today. Hopefully it’s a day for catching up with my self.
Our daughter arranged a night out for next Thursday causing me great confusion because I thought I was away next week. A very senior moment on my part because I am away the week after. This is why I have a calendar as a guide provided I know what day it is. think_smiley_46

Drizzle this morning which may scupper plans to fit TPMS to my daughter's car. Definitely feeling autumnal this morning so time for a second leisurely cuppa to see if weather clears.

Dry still over in the west but fairly grey. The forecast is for it to clear a bit later but I think Mr Sun is having a harder and harder job doing it. Weatherperson is suggesting a bit of brightness for next week  shrugg
