Habitation service Discount

As a member are we entitled to a discount from a a/s dealership on a habitation service.

Not as a member of the forum, which is quite separate from the A/S Owners Club.

If you are a member of ASOC as well, present your card before you book in, or they will probably not allow the discount.

Don't ask why, but that's the way they work!! 

Some Dealers give discounts for some work to Members of the Auto-Sleeper Owners' Club [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , I'm not aware of similar discounts being offered to members of this forum although an Insurance Broker (can't remember name offhand) is happy to talk to forum members about their insurance needs.

JohnsCross offer 10% discount off parts and accessories to forum members. Don't know if they give discount on service though.

No probs then, but you didn't say previously what you are a member of, hence the uncertainty.

Just show your card before you book in and you will get the discount.

I'm always suspicious of a discount offered for one reason or another such as membership of a club  but only if you tell them BEFORE they do the work or present the bill...... Give me the bill then I produce members card and get real discount surely??

If you produce proof after work then another invoice has to be produced and original cancelled whereas if you tell them beforehand the invoice will show the discount.

Just call me an old cynic!  

I can think of more colourful descriptions (  ) but I agree with your logic. 

Can't help wondering if the time and effort they spend on the job is also discounted!!

Some dealers offer a discount if you purchased the vehicle from them .
