ASOC Rally

Well I’m going and I know the Rally Marshall is going.

Anyone else going.

Done York so many times, we are giving it a miss but doing the Stafford one next weekend.

We are going.    Been to York loads of times, pleasure and work but its still an area I like.  Its Alan and Glenys's 1st rally they have organised so going to support them

Enjoy Stafford Boat Club.

As I live only about 6 miles away think I’ll be giving it a miss.

Back in the late 70s I actually was a volunteer for a short period at the boat club and paid a very small part in building it, as I remember driving a dumper truck on a few weekends when they were digging out the moorings.

Arrived at Wiggington (York) to a warm welcome from Alan and team.

Great site level field, and facilities of the Rugby club are first class.

Well  done Alan a great site and I’m sure will become a regular ASOC    venue

Terry had his head screwed on by visiting railway museum today. We got caught in York with an almighty downpour 

Like he said smashing venue handy for buses reasonable bar you ASOC members have missed a good rally

Rumour is that hopefully we can rally here again next year.

That is correct.  We have not been to a venue before where the owners have made us more welcome, to the site and club facilities
