truma heater (trumatic ultraheat)
Hi there Every time i have the space heater working on gas the pilot light keeps going out when there is any wind outside,has anyone had this problem and how have they solved it.Thanks for any replies.

Our previous 09 Broadway suffered the same, more so when the wind was gusting. It was a pain especially when we were wanting to be warm and comfortable on day outings from home. You obviously have a conventional fire arrangement beneath the wardrobe? Current van has blown space heating (no fire) which fortunately is not troubled by any wind.

There is a vent in the floor below the fire which is supposed to be one way (out) for gas drain. It may be stuck open allowing draught up onto the pilot light?

had exactly the same issue on my Nuevo I solved it by adding an extention piece to the flue this lifts the exhaust above (just above) the raised sides of the roof - so far 100% success

You need the flue extension mentioned above. Mine is on its third van.

Todds in Preston sold me one that was cheaper than Ebay. It has to be really windy now for the fire to blow out.
It's easy to fit if you open the rooflight and stand on the bench seat, assuming you are not too small.
