Any good ideas ? We put pillows up there when travelling then just shelf for newspapers etc when camped .
Just trying to pick everyone’s brains

Nothing heavy. I was sat in the passenger seat when a friend accelerated briskly and dumped a thick heavy atlas on my head - it hurt!!!

We have a Thule windbreak. the only place to store it is in its bag above this shelf. Each end goes into the storage bay each side above the cab doors leaving a gap of about 30mm above the shelf. It has never dislodged while driving.

We had the whole of that area made into a cupboard when we ordered ours. You can get loads of light bulky stuff up there - spare bedding, loo rolls, towels etc.etc.

We just have a narrow shelf below sun roof at the front -perfect for 2 pillows .
