Afternoon All

Good afternoon on the hottest day of year so far in East Kent.

Bought our beloved VW Trophy back in 2014. It was in a sorry state of neglect, but still running - just. We have slowly renovated all the mechanical systems - now running very sweetly so we have to date managed about 25,000 miles in UK and Ireland. Just back from a very hot music festival in Upton upon Severn - 700 miles of country lanes through parched fields.
Have fallen more and more in love with "Hoppi" [that's its nickname - what it was doing when we first bought it. Managed to cure that].
I've no background in things mechanical, but find the local specialist dealers are not helpful . They make excuses because of age of van. So trying to learn to do jobs myself with advice if I can get it. Later this summer off on our first trip abroad - to the Netherlands.
Beginning to look now at the internal domestic services to overhaul anything if I can.
