My wife and I are going this morning. We will be walking there as we live about half a mile away.

Is the pitching better than Kenilworth Paul? I wrote a letter of complaint about that to Warners and the CCC and haven't heard a word!
Enjoy your weekend - hope the weather's better there!

We are in General area this time. Pitching lanes are far enough apart but in front of me, folk have erected windbreaks across the lanes so no emergency escape route without demolishing the windbreaks which I would not hesitate to do if needed. As for space back and front, no more then 6 feet between.Traficlady wrote:Is the pitching better than Kenilworth Paul? Marshalls complaining about length of one outfit. It is towing a car on a trailer - the motorhome is an AS Burford Duo which must be the longest AS made looking at it.
Weather lovely and sunny this morning, raining when we arrived yesterday.

It'll be interesting to see how they pitch us at Lincoln. I think cars should be parked elsewhere or, at least, beside the caravan. We had to get the man behind us at Kenilworth to move his car, which was across the front of his caravan and the back of our van, so we could roll off the levellers.
Wish it was sunny here :-(.

Should hate to be in a unregulated area, if you camp with a club you are likely to have adequate space although warners are not noted for being over generous with their allocations

Re: Anyone at Norwich show?
It was a nightmare in the CCC area at Kenilworth, no way out in an emergency - or in for an ambulance - cars parked in front of caravans blocking any way out, vans all higgledy piggledy. Definitely a fire hazard if nothing else. We complained to the steward and were told that was the way Warners had told them to do it! Other clubs' areas were fine with plenty of room. We've been to other shows and never seen it like this.
