Truma Electric Heater Empty Truma Electric Heater

Post by Guest Sat Mar 12, 2011 10:19 pm

The electric heating cuts out on 2000 W set at 9 at 17.5 C. This is since the Truma service engineer cleaned the unit and repositioned the thermostat down at the bottom of the unit. Previously the thermostat was sitiaded by the light above the seat/bed . Where is the thermostat situated on your unit ....any ideas ?

You don't say what model Truma you have but on our Combi 6e the installation instructions say -

When selecting the location, bear in mind that the room temperature sensor must not be subjected to any direct radiant heat. For optimum room temperature regulation, we recommend that the room temperature sensor be fitted above the entrance door.
