Spirit level Empty Spirit level

Post by Gromit 28th June 2015, 13:34

This may be useful for those who want to fit a permanent spirit level where it can be seen from the driver's seat. Tiny enough to go almost anywhere with a blob of that hard setting putty stuff underneath to fix it! At less than £3 it can't be bad.

See thread linked above. I've been using one for years, blue tacked to drivers door.

Thanks Peter.

I shall put mine in exactly the same place as yours, but it needs to be very narrow to go between the window and the Remis blinds.

I had a triangular one in the same place on the previous van, and it worked fine. Far too big now we have the fancy blinds however, and there just isn't anywhere else to put it.

I put water in the sink, enough to cover the bottom. If it drains well, we are good to go.

I lie down. If my feet are level or below my head then it's fine to stay where we are. smile!
