Wood used in construction Empty Wood used in construction

Is anyone aware if AS are thinking about going down a similar route to the likes of Swift and Bailey, and of course many Continental vans, and reducing/eliminating wood in the construction of their coachbuilts?
My Inca is a great van, but will need to be replaced sometime, preferably with another AS. However, having had issues with damp previously, the construction of something like a Hymer appeals, or a Swift once the new vans have been around for a couple of years and we know how they've performed.
Also, AS only give a 2 year warranty which I feel is not much when compared against some others, and doesn't give out a very great message about their confidence in their own product.
