Hi

My family and I have just taken the plunge into campervan ownership as we feel it'll be a brilliant way to take our son (and hopefully brothers and sisters in the future) on adventures as he grows up, so we have brought a 1993 Autosleeper Trident (vw t4) she does need a little tlc, but thats half the fun for me.

Our first adventure, tea and cake on the shores of Derwent Water, i'd like to say that it was a lovely relaxing trip but that would be a lie. The rear drum was bound on so I spent an hour freeing it off before we could go. When were got to Derwent Water we thought we'd take Harry (20 months old) to feed the ducks. He manage to pull away from me and went straight into the lake up to his thighs after the ducks! Two very worried parents! No harm done, just soaked, went home wearing Daddy's fleece. We are just gearing up for our first few nights away next week, fingers crossed our trip will go without incident.

cheers

Andy

Warm welcome Andya90 and family, we used to use reins when our little one became active- it didn't always work though!
I hope you really enjoy your trident it is a very good place to start. wave
