I'm sure members of the forum have seen the footage on the news channels about the flooding in West Wales and beyond.
My heart goes out to the locals, campers like myself and hope you all pull through this disaster, well done the R.A.F, SAR teams. grand job. topmarks
Like many members we have traveled these roads, stopped at the shops and even stayed at some of the touring parks.
We are heading for south Wales at the weekend and hopefully travel up the coast in a week or two, if your open for business we will be calling in to support the local economy.

Hi Paul, thanks for the concern. Although the North Side tent field resembled a lake everywhere else was fine just a tad soggy under foot. We did have lots of folks contacting us though, to either cancel or enquire about the site conditions before setting off.

We are located about 40 miles North of where the problems were. Being in the industry so to speak, you really feel for the campers/caravan/motorhome owners and the site owners alike. It will take many years to recover from this, it is all about customer confidence even if it was the fist time in over 20 years that this has occurred!
